My journey towards a healthier and fit life began in November 2016 when I picked up a photograph of myself and barely recognized the person I saw. “Is this what I look like?” I thought to myself as I glanced down at the person staring back at me.I noticed that I had put on so much weight and in only a short space of time – This scared me. The fact that 90% of my wardrobe did’nt go passed my thighs should have been a reality check, but I guess I was in denial.
I have managed to lose weight in the past but my problem has always been keeping it off. Once I reach my goal weight I always seem to revert back to my old habits and this is where the problem lies.
The photograph woke me up to the realization that I needed to do something about my weight, and that if I was going to make any lasting changes, I needed to create new habits that would lead to sustainable results.
And so I started to do some research on how I could achieve these goals and found that the best way to do so was by Intermittent fasting. I decided to give it a try and could not believe the results I got. In my first week of intermittent fasting, I lost more weight than I had ever lost in a 7 day period. The results I got inspired me to learn more about the subject and further inspired the creation of this book.
