Storyteller. Cat Lover. Movie Goer. If you read King, know Hitchcock, to our know the mystery-suspense dramatic writings of these greats, and will find my works in the genre. I hope you are safe-well and reading. Welcome to the tiny corner of my world. I am 70 and wondering how I made it here because I lived the life of a nomad since the age 17. I love telling stories. When we were pups, me, my nieces and nephews played school. I was the teacher and would think up stories to entertain. I’m the baby, the last in line of ten children. Daddy died when I was five months breathing out of the womb. Our mother raised us alone and in the fifties that was no easy task when you don’t have a pot to… and a window to throw it out of. Life went on regardless of loss and our mother remarried when I was five. We moved to a farm when I was thirteen. Farming was a life of long hours in the fields in sweltering heat while bailing hay and straw, planting fields of corn, wheat, and barley. Winters were not like they are these days. I took off to Rochester New York, and oh my goodness, I'd never seen such buildings, and the people and traffic. I was consumed and confused, fearful and happy, yet overwhelmed by a world I didn’t know existed. I met a lot of people on my journeys. I didn’t stay in Rochester. I ventured along to another city and another. I lived in Toronto Canada for a year then headed home back to the farm. I still write and you'll likely find me with a laptop on my lap when I leave this realm. Well there you have it. As in all of my works, please remember to give a smile, get a smile, and keep a smile.
