About this listen
33 Strategies of War is a comprehensive guide to the subtle social game of everyday life, informed by the most ingenious and effective military principles in war. It's the I-Ching of conflict, the contemporary companion to Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and is abundantly illustrated with examples from history, including the folly and genius of everyone from Napoleon to Margaret Thatcher, Hannibal to Ulysses S. Grant, movie moguls to samurai swordsmen.

Clear concept make clear with examples
Brilliant piece of work. Core strategy concepts organized and explained with colorful stories from different walks of life making the idea that strategy is key for a well lived life in a world increasingly defined by competition a d competitive forces.

Good, however, somewhat repetitive of 48 laws...
It's a good read (rather listen)... For those who have already read the author's previous works, ie 48 laws of power, will find that most of the laws have been transformed into war strategies, Eg. being non committal, Passive Aggressive reaction, concept of Trojan horse etc.
Those who have not gone through his previous works will definitely find this book useful
