About this listen

When Feyre kills a wolf, a beastlike creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a magical land, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it....

"I have to create or it was all for nothing."

"How do you keep creating despite what you lost?"

"I have to create or it was all for nothing. I have to create or I will crumble up with despair and never leave my bed. I have to create because I have no other way of voicing this" her hand rested on her heart and my eyes burned. "It is hard" the weaver said her stare never leaving mine "and it hurts. But if I were to stop, if I were to let this loom or this spindle go silent," she broke my gaze at last to look at her tapestry "there will be no hope shining in the void."

For once a book in this series isn't about going to war, planning for war, or strategizing about war. A Court of Frost and Starlight is the smallest book of the series and it's about healing from war — however that looks for each character. While some learn to express and channel their pain others go months in numbness.
