DNF due to homophobia/bigotry

Why books set in present day San Francisco have this level of homophobia is another issue altogether, but keeping it in an adridged adaptation is INExcusable and tacit encouragement of the same.

Graphic Audio made a bad call there.

I could've enjoyed a perfectly good detective noir urban fantasy otherwise, but it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth and spoils the entire experience.
