Many have claimed that the face on Mars is a hoax, yet there are many indicators that Mars was once populated by a highly intelligent extraterrestrial race. Researchers propose that a city consisting of very large pyramids and mounds, arranged in a geometric pattern, once existed on the Cydonia Planitia. Recent video images from landers and orbiters strongly suggest that there are structures on the surface that clearly resemble structures humans have built on Earth.
