About this listen

In this powerful book, the renowned exorcist of Rome tells of his many experiences in his ministry as an exorcist doing battle with Satan to relieve the great suffering of people in the grip of evil. The importance of the ministry to "expel demons" is clearly seen in the Gospels, from the actions of the Apostles, and from Church history. Fr. Amorth allows the listener to witness the activities of the exorcist, to experience what an exorcist sees and does. He also reveals how little modern science, psychology, and medicine can do to help those under Satan's influence, and that only the power of Christ can release them from this kind of mental, spiritual or physical suffering.

An Exorcist Tells His Story has been a European best seller that has gone through numerous printings and editions. No other book today so thoroughly and concisely discusses the topic of exorcism.

Amazing insights and guidance

I loved the narration with examples and the way the incidents and stories have been narrated with reference to the versus in Holy Bible.
This book really takes it deep and makes us understand the severity of sun, attacks of devil, our vulnerability and the strongest need why we need to be prayerful and cling to the lord. The purpose of Jesus coming to earth, mission of Mother Mary, Holy Spirit and many, this books throws light and clears a lot of ambiguity.
I would recommend this book to the youth who can be the future of the churches and the soldiers in fighting with the devil on earth.

valuable insights on churchs view

"An Exorcist Tells His Story" presents a gripping narrative recounted in first-person perspective, skillfully narrated to draw listeners into the world of exorcism. The book offers a compelling account of a priest's experiences with exorcism, blending elements of personal memoir with insights into the supernatural.

One of the audiobook's standout features is its narration, which effectively conveys the priest's firsthand encounters with demonic possession and spiritual warfare. Listeners are immersed in the intense and often harrowing experiences described by the narrator, creating a sense of tension and intrigue throughout.

The accounts of exorcism presented in the book are both riveting and enlightening, offering valuable insights into the practice and challenges faced by those involved in spiritual warfare. Additionally, the book serves as a quasi-self-help guide, providing guidance and advice on confronting evil and strengthening one's faith.

However, one aspect of the audiobook that may be off-putting to some listeners is the repeated criticism of certain hierarchical structures within the church. While the author's perspective is undoubtedly valuable, the repetitive nature of these criticisms may detract from the overall narrative and impact the audiobook's accessibility to a wider audience.

In conclusion, "An Exorcist Tells His Story" is a well-narrated audiobook that offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of exorcism. While the accounts are engaging and insightful, the book's tendency towards repetitive criticisms may diminish its appeal to some listeners. Nonetheless, for those interested in spiritual warfare and the supernatural, this audiobook provides a compelling and thought-provoking listen.
