About this listen
‘Giving up is not an option when someone calls you mother.’
Abhay, still struggling with the grief of losing his wife, is unable to cope with his job and the care of his toddler son. So when the mysterious Sheetal enters his life, applying for the job of looking after Ayush, he is thrilled.
All Sheetal has ever wanted, even as a child, is to be a mother. Circumstances mean that she might never be one. The almost instant bond between her and the young boy is balm to her soul and like a godsend to Abhay.
Still, there is something about Sheetal that nags at him. She seems perfect, but why is she so reluctant to show him her identity card? What is she hiding?
What happens when Abhay finally discovers her secret? Will he stand by her side or abandon her, as everyone before him has done? And what is the gift that she gives him, a gift that will change his life? In The Unexpected Gift, best-selling writer Ajay Pandey brings to us an emotionally resonant story that questions everything we believe about friendship, love and motherhood.

Transformative potential
Sunil Nambiar has narrated well and done justice to a very good storyline and even if it can change the mindset of few people in the society, Ajay K Pandey would be a true hero

i also wish to help them
Every time i see a transgeder on redlight i. lways wish if i could help them getting a job instead of asking for money on road. i know some are willingly working on streets so they don't have to do hard work and earn money. but that is very rare out of them they are human too they also like respect, in last few years i have seen them getting humble and respectable too. I don't get forced pay now, earlier it was like a big headache every time i saw a kinar on a traffic light. but now i think i am going to wait for another signal and ask a few transgenders about their stories and maybe see if i can help themmin any other way, other then just few paper notes.
He is best at writing contemporary romantic and heart touching novels.
