Publisher's Summary

It is an irony of fate that despite being an extremely important and immortal character in the saga of Mahabharata, Ashwatthama has always been neglected. There are other characters in puranic literature, including Ashwatthama, who are considered immortal. But where other characters have received immortality in the form of a boon, Ashwatthama received in the form of a curse!

The story of any war is replete with tales of ruthless massacres, murder of innocents, and other kinds of misdeeds. Then what were those two unforgivable crimes committed by Ashwatthama in a great war like Mahabharata, for which Lord Krishna cursed him to wander the earth for thousands of years in a lonely and shabby state? Ashwatthama questions if Shri Krishna did injustice to him by giving such a harsh curse or if God had some divine purpose behind it. Did Lord Krishna want to give a message to modern society through Ashwatthama?

In this new exciting novel, the author Ashutosh Garg presents the tragic story of Ashwatthama from the perspective of that great warrior, highlighting the hitherto untouched aspects of Ashwatthama’s life.

Nice to listen

Excellent work by Ashutosh Garg, and his voice is incredible. Some incidents in the book give me goosebumps. This is a summary of the Mahabharata from Ashwatthama's point of view.

New Perspective to old story

though I listened to to it in parts.. not in continuity, I didn't struggle to get involved in the story just because of the beautiful narrative by Neeraj Yadav.. Although many aspects of the story still need to be clarified.. but those parts leave the listener guessing the next move of the characters... though an old story, with new perspective, enjoyed listening to this book... Good work by Ashutosh Garg

Good Narration by Neeraj

I liked the narration.
Well explained stories from Mahabharata.
I grow up watching Mahabharat on TV.
But in today's smartphone generation it would be a good practice if parents make their child listen to this.
