Okayish

I usually enjoy dramatizations include all those old timey radio audiobooks with their bad audio and scratches and all that. Still, I found this adaptation very jarring and almost unenjoyable. I think, this is not a issue with the approach taken here by the audio production team. Ultimately, I feel it has to do with all of Lovecraft stories. They are enjoyable in their original unabridged form. I did not enjoy this, but I am still giving it high marks because of the enormous effort that must gone into making these this book.

Highly recommend purchasing any of the dozens of unabridged lovecraft audio books available. My recommendation is this audio book called, "The Ultimate Horror Collection". The narrator, in the ultimate horror collection of the lovecraft stories, really fills you up with dread.
