Showers is also a passionate activist and philanthropist who has amongst other achievements has planted 200 trees in Karene District, Sierra Leone And took part in the campaign to emancipate a town in Southern Sierra Leone called 'Yenga' and its people. This town that was under the control of Guinean authorities.
