About this listen
Joining us at Audible studios is Bryony Gordon, author, journalist and mental health campaigner.
Gordon has been writing for the Telegraph for over two decades; she has published a weekly column since 2006, and also writes ‘How the Other Half Lives’ for the Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine. As well as her articles for the papers, Gordon has written several bestselling books, such as The Wrong Knickers, her first memoir; Mad Girl, which details her daily challenges living a life with obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia and addiction; and Glorious Rock Bottom, to name but a few. Gordon hosts a podcast titled Mad World, in which she interviews celebrities about mental health struggles, and she has run the London Marathon to raise money as mental health campaigner.
We will be chatting with Bryony Gordon about Mad Woman, her latest book which looks back over her life since Mad Girl was published. We will be asking how her views on mental health have changed, what you need to know about Dryrobes, and what impact the pandemic had on her life. Plus, the affect that perimenopause and hormones can have on mental health.
