About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
A roadmap for thinking clearly in any situation.
We all aspire to see the world clearly. And yet all too often, when the pressure is on, we give in to our most irrational impulses - making intuitive decisions that take us ever-further from our goals.
In Clear Thinking, Shane Parrish - 'the former spy who helps Wall Street mavens think smarter' (New York Times) - explains how to think clearly in any situation. He shows that the path to clear thinking lies not in the most high-stakes decisions, but in the most ordinary moments - from how we start our mornings to how we approach our daily conversations. And he uses stories, mental models, and psychological insights to offers a transformative method for seeing through our biases and understanding what's really happening.
The result is a must-have manual for optimizing decision-making and living intentionally. It will clear your head and transform your life.

A must read to make good judgements
I have many times struggled in my life to make judgements. I fail to analyse the situation and problem at hand. I used to focus on wrong problems which has impacted my judgement on important problems in life. This is a must read for anyone who is facing similar problems in life. The book is divided into three parts. Identifying the problems, finding possible solutions, evaluating the options, acting on the selected option. The book also covers how we take few decisions automatically without thinking due to various defaults and how can we prevent listening to them in few important situations. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
This is a good book for gifting too. I have already gifted one copy to my friend.
P.S. I listened to the audiobook and did not read from the hard copy.
Happy reading. Ciao.

Worth reading
The author has a great structure and story to the book. He has connected many existing thought leaders or experts views in a cohesive manner. He mentioned that he has taken concepts from experts and added his own experience and thoughts. The Decisions sections is written exceptionally well. I liked it very much. The other sections are also good.
