Brilliant

I've been on the edge of my seat for the past few weeks owing to this gem of a book. "Crime and Punishment"- Given the cult status of the book, I was sure it would be something, however I was under an impression that it'd be a hard read as many of the classics are. But boy, was I wrong. It is as gripping as it is profound. Fyodor Dostoevsky has all the twists and turns in his masterpiece, many of them occur in the minds and thoughts of his brilliantly written characters. Their convictions and doubts; their fears and dominance speak volumes about Dostoevsky's genius. They say great books are timeless; this one, definitely is.
And I should give a special mention to the greatest narrator ever. Anthony Heald has filled all the characters with life. I can now only think of the characters in his voice. He should be given all the awards for outstanding narration, if there are any :)

Crime and Punishment♡

My favorite classic forever and one of the main reason for this is I'm just like Raskolnikov.

What a performance!

While the story is amazing, the audio performance by Mr Anthony Heald should go down as one of the most important one in the history of audiobooks.

Brilliant Story! Brilliant Narration!

A young man in St. Petersburg commits a brutal crime and struggles with guilt and paranoia as he evades capture. Through his suffering and eventual confession, he comes to understand the true nature of crime and punishment. This classic novel explores themes of morality, justice, and redemption with depth and nuance.
The narrator is exceptional in his ability to convey the complex emotions and thoughts of the characters with vivid language and detail. He maintains a consistent tone throughout the novel, capturing both the gritty realism of the setting and the philosophical musings of the protagonist.
