less police work, more dumb luck

skip the series. not a great example of investigative police work. very annoying lead character, asks dumb questions and is always clueless.

there are far better police procedurals out there. there are just too many holes in the way the investigation is conducted. the team comes across as rather inept.

not once in the series has the lead been able to prevent any murders. manages to catch the killer after all the kills have already taken place and is able to nab the perpetrator right when they are about to escape for good.

isn't a successful detective one who is able to preserve life? here the bumbling moron of a lead repeatedly fails on this count.

there are far better police procedurals out there and this series is just about average.
