Brilliant!

Absolutely loved the narrator! He made the Marquis of Vidal come alive! I'm going to look for more books narrated by Mr. Michael Malone.

A vastly intersting listen

I was glued to the story and didn't wish it to come to end. but all good things come to an end. This was my first Georgette heyer novel by good luck..the book remains my most favourite of novels Ms Heyer.

A delicious Regency romance

The narrator brings this entertaining sequel to These Old Shades to life with a brilliant characterization of the delightful cast of beloved and new members of the Alastair family and their friends.
Absolutely fabulous

A patchy performance

The narrator makes strange decisions to speed up certain dialogues at random while others in the same scene are read at a normal pace. When it's good, it's very good (like the way he reads Avon); when it's too fast, it's terrible (the scene between Juliana and Vidal). Sadly, I'll be avoiding this narrator in the future. Devil's Cub is one of my favourite Heyer titles, and I just feel kind of underwhelmed.
