Publisher's Summary

Featuring a special introduction written for the audiobook edition and read by the author

Australia has more things that can kill you than anywhere else. Nevertheless, Bill Bryson journeyed to the country and promptly fell in love with it. The people are cheerful, their cities are clean, the beer is cold, and the sun nearly always shines.

Must read for anyone from OZ or a visitor to Australia

Fantastic ! That’s how I will describe.

Humour filled narration is extremely smooth n clean. More a conversational type, am amazed at the observation Bryson makes an boy how beautifully described.

Call it a humour literature, a travel guide, Bryson’ diaries......any which way this one is a winner !

Too much about how scary Australia is

Don't expect the normal funny Bryson book. Too much about deadly creatures and horrible accidents in Australia. He mentions it every 10 minutes and that too in great detail. Not what I expected from a travelogue.
