When Jonathan Harker visits Transylvania to help Count Dracula with the purchase of a house in London, he soon discovers some strange and shocking things about his new client. And then some strange things start happening back in England: an apparently unmanned ship is wrecked off the coast of Whitby, a young woman discovers strange puncture marks on her neck and the inmate of a lunatic asylum raves about the 'Master' and his imminent arrival.
First published in 1897, Dracula is an epistolary novel, meaning that the narrative is related through letters, diary entries and newspaper articles. The story is brought to life in this Audible production by a group of actors that you might recognise from TV and film: Himesh Patel (Yesterday), Patricia Allison (Sex Education), Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People), Theo James (Divergent series) and Jason Watkins (The Crown).

Brilliant Narration to an Amazing Story
I am Revisiting this classic for the third time now, But this time its the Audio version. Its a bit long ( almost 18.hrs) but its all worth it !! All the Narrators are brilliant and you feel the atmospheric haunting and the Vampire eerie setting through their narration. It was a Breezy, creepy, Haunting Ride.....
Totally Worth it !! A must LISTEN :)

TRULY EXCELLENT!!!
truly one of the best dramatizations of dracula ever. 10/10 would recommend for those into thrillers.still looking for a new book to match its excellency.

simply a better narration
I decided to continue in this version of dracula, after the other one (featuring Alan Cumming), dragged me down a bit with it's multiple narrators but still single voice method of narration.
This one has overlapping voices, as you might expect from a audio drama. It's not a full drama though, for there is no music and stuff that you might expect in a Dirk Maggs production.
So, yes, I recommend this book over the Cumming version. Of course, the story itself is amazing, and it's amazing how modern everything sounds, even though, the book is so old. Just amazing stories.

Truly the Most Horrifying Story Ever
The narrators left me speechless as they were amazing at their work.. for I wouldn't have read the book if not for their brilliant narration

Everything is perfect
Beautifully read out the actual novel by all the characters involved in the novel. All the voices were matched perfectly with the characters. Not over dramatized so as actual content is unchanged. Live it so much. I read this novel in my teens. Now I understand more in details. Thank you Audible.
