About this listen
The highly anticipated sequel to Audible's Best of 2016 - Science Fiction winner, We Are Legion (We Are Bob); a book listeners are calling "so much fun", "what science fiction was meant to be", and what would happen if "Andy Weir and Ernest Cline had a lovechild".
Bob Johansson didn't believe in an afterlife, so waking up after being killed in a car accident was a shock. To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe.
Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece. A system-wide war has killed off 99.9 percent of the human race; nuclear winter is slowly making the Earth uninhabitable; a radical group wants to finish the job on the remnants of humanity; the Brazilian space probes are still out there, still trying to blow up the competition; and the Bobs have discovered a spacefaring species that sees all other life as food.
Bob left Earth anticipating a life of exploration and blissful solitude. Instead he's become a sky god to a primitive native species, the only hope for getting humanity to a new home, and possibly the only thing that can prevent every living thing in the local sphere from ending up as dinner.
Listener favorite Ray Porter returns to narrate Bob - and his many incarnations - in all of their geeky glory.
For We Are Many is the second installment in the blockbuster Audible Original Bobiverse series - which has sold more than one million copies.

Bobiverse 2
First book is a saga in itself, I was ready to be disappointed when I picked up the second book in series. Kept on getting better and better as I went deeper. Absolutely recommended, loving every book of this series. Will give the series a break (need to smell coffee beans between trying out different perfumes) only to pick it up again in a week.

A great sequel
I had a whole lot of fun listening to this book. The story progresses in significant ways and we get a nasty villain for the next one.

Good story line that flows easily through ears!
I went for this because I liked the first book alot, but I soon realised it’s not a 100% attention requiring book!
If you are dealing something boring, put this on back and time would fly!
For younger audience below 20.. it’s a really good book!

(++)narration, (+)story buildup, (-)chapter naming
To start, the narration is as fabulous as it was in the first book and continues so in the second and third books. It is something that can change your experience of listening to an audiobook quite drastically and Ray Porter puts on a great performance to make the story more enjoyable.
The story-line itself continues with a steady built-up of the plot from the first book and although there are no significant high points in the book, except possibly the introduction of the Others, it maintains the flow of the story without getting into an excessive adventure / thriller mode.
However, did feel that the descriptions on the various planetary systems and surroundings that the Bobs explored could have been better supported through bit more details. Also the descriptions for some of the characters and specifically the new Bobs seemed to be limited and there is little explanation on the activities of many Bobs that have been referred in the book. I guess there is no correct answer for the right balance considering the increasing number of Bobs, but at the end you were left with with more queries that remain to be satisfactorily answered.
But all-in-all, if you enjoyed the first book, you should continue with this and the third one. The various stories maintain the steady momentum in the second book each coming to their satisfying conclusion in the final book making for an enjoyable read (listening).
Note: One of the key area of complaint in this audiobook was the naming of the chapters (and this remains an issue with the third book as well). While the first audiobook had complete description of chapters including the name of the Bob and the system, this was completely missing in this version of the audiobook. The earlier chapter naming really helped when you wanted to just recap after a gap in listening, but this was absent in this version of the audiobook. This would particularly be feedback for audible rather than the book itself.
