Morten Korch (f. 1876 - d. 1954), Danmarks mest folkekære forfatter, begyndte sit virke i 1898 med novellesamlingen "Humoresker - Fyensk Humør", der indeholdt en række skitser og fortællinger, alle på klingende fynsk.
