About this listen

Everyone feels it. And most of us know it's not right. But only a few find out the real story behind what all of us sense is true: we are not meant to walk around bent over, burdened by the weight of our own past. We can do so much better than struggle to sweeten what is bitter. Besides, it doesn't work.

This program invites you to discover, awaken, and realize a "sleeping" power within you that will literally work to lighten your load in life. Virtually everyone on earth knows the name of this "power", yet few have realized the extraordinary advantage of bringing it to life in themselves. These few live an entirely different life than the masses. They know deeper love, sweeter success, and higher creativity. They enjoy less stress, less worry, and have less resentment than virtually anyone we will ever meet. They have the amazing power of forgiveness.

Even though it may seem like forgiveness only relates to specific negative states, like anger and resentment, it can do so much more. This timeless principle actually grants us the power we need to transform the whole of our life. In fact, forgiveness is such a powerful and far-reaching principle that it can be said that the true measure of a man or woman lies in direct proportion to his or her capacity to forgive. A man who can forgive himself for his past wrongdoings is a giant of a man. And a woman who can forgive her enemies, no matter how great their trespass, is a woman worthy of all that life has to bestow.

Really good stuff

The concept is really good, got me thinking a lot, and it's really really deep
but it also lacks what to do of the hurt and the wisdom derived from the bad experience.
This book helps you to find what is important, to grow beyond, before resentment sets in.
But it fails to solve the problem of what is hurting in a proper way.
The solution of just ignore the feeling, will bring about more problems, would it not make you a pushover in society.
because no matter who wronged, you forgive
If you don't place accountability of wrong doing on perpetrators but only place accountability of forgiveness on the victim
although it's a profound solution for self against resentment , It is partial solution with respect to relationship and accountability
