Publisher's Summary
A cynical law student must learn to harness magical powers while navigating a world of gods and monsters in the first book of this LitRPG fantasy series.
Lukas Aguilar does not believe in gods. Despite—or perhaps because of—his deep knowledge of mythology and lore, Lukas has always valued what is practical, factual, and verifiable, eschewing faith for what he can see right in front of him. That is, until an earthquake destroys his home, and he wakes up in a dark cavern infested with bloodthirsty and unearthly creatures, wielding strange powers and hearing an even stranger voice in his head claiming to be a goddess.
Now Lukas must learn to embrace the unbelievable, leveling up his abilities and cooperating with the devious deity in his mind—and fast. Because wherever he is, it isn’t friendly, and he’ll need to fight to stay alive . . .
Filled with unique characters and intricate world-building, Godsfall launches a captivating series that will appeal to fans of epic fantasy, progression storytelling, and clever spins on classic mythology.
The first volume of the hit LitRPG adventure series—with more than 600,000 views on Royal Road—now available on Audible and wherever ebooks are sold!

Excellent work!
Dark and gritty, the style effectively conveys the setting without explicitly stating everything that is happening, a good usage of 'show, don't tell'.
Dialogue is crisp, characters are individual and complex, and the premise is strong and compelling. Sentence structure is well formulated, and I definitely recommend this!

Phenomenal!
I came here after reading the book.
Where to start? Stranger than Fiction: Godsfall is a completely unique story that has captured my interest. It has that unique spark that sets it apart from its competitors. The spark of course is the way it depicts the Goddess Inanna. Usually, in these types of stories, you can expect the Goddess to be in love with the main character, or there would be something humanizing about them. Here however, while Inanna has a followable thought process, it is completely alien to our own. I can definitely imagine natural disasters thinking like this. As you can tell by my previous statement, I am kind of enamored by the characters. They are about as top-notch as top-notch can get. As far as the overall story goes well I guess I can say with certainty this won't be a downhill fall. But whether it goes uphill is the question that I am hoping to get an answer to as I read this story. And as far as I am concerned the writing style is completely amazing, I mean I could feel the impact of the words, and the tension was done, just right. What more could you want from a story online? I definitely can't wait for the next chapter. If you are still here reading my review, what are you even doing? Listen to the audiobook and form your own opinions.

You're witnessing the forging a brilliant series!
Normally, I don't give 5-stars because each story can always be improved in some way. But this one definitely deserves it.
The characters are excellently written, each with their own personalities, desires, and goals.
The plot progresses at a steady pace and each chapter furthers it in some significant way. (Apart from perhaps the interludes, wherein we get some backstory for some characters).
The POV switches between two main characters, with some viewpoints of others mixed in here and there, although it primarily stays focussed on our protagonist, Lukas. This does not detract from the story, however, and they are usually done in places where it makes sense, so those who prefer to stick to only one character shouldn't need to shy away from it.
I didn't notice any issues with the grammar and the prose flowed well, so props to the editor.
The ending sets up the motivation for the protagonist and overarching plot of the sequel nicely so there is definitely anticipation for more to come.
Well done to the author! They have a good thing going here. Looking forward to more.
