Publisher's Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Two exes. One pact.
Could this holiday change everything?
Harriet and Wyn are the perfect couple—they go together like bread and butter, gin and tonic, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Except, now they don't.
They broke up six months ago. And they still haven't told anyone.
Which is how they end up sharing a bedroom at the cottage that has been their yearly getaway with their best friends for the past decade. For one glorious week they leave behind their lives, drink far too much wine and soak up the sea air with their favourite people.
Only this year, Harriet and Wyn are lying through their teeth. The cottage is for sale so this is the last time they'll all be together here and they can't bear to break their friends' hearts. So, they'll fake it for one more week.
It's a flawless plan (if you look at it through a pair of sunscreen-smeared sunglasses).
But how can you pretend to be in love with someone—and get away with it—in front of the people who know you best?
Brimming with characters you can't help but fall for and off-the-charts chemistry, Happy Place is Emily Henry's best novel yet.

Story
Winnifred "Win" McNulty has always been wildly independent. Not one to be coddled for her limb difference, Win has spent most of her life trying to prove that she can do it all on her own. And, with some minor adjustments, she's done just fine. That is until she has a one-night stand with the incredibly charming Bo, a perfect stranger. And that one night changes everything. While Bo is surprisingly elated to step up to the plate, Win finds herself unsure of whether she can handle this new challenge on her own or if she'll need a helping hand.

Story
Naomi wasn’t just running away from her wedding. She was riding to the rescue of her twin. Too bad for Naomi, her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with a niece she didn’t know she had. Now, she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no home - and an 11-year-old to take care of. Since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least Knox can do is help her out. And just as soon as she's out of trouble, he can get back to his peaceful, solitary life. That’s the plan, until the trouble turns to real danger.

Story
The correspondence between Carrie Allsop and David Mayer reveals, piece by piece, the painful details of a devastating affair between their spouses. With each commiserating scratch of the pen, they confess their fears and bare their souls. They share the bewilderment over how things went so wrong and come to wonder where to go from here. Told entirely through the letters of two comforting strangers and those of two illicit lovers, Evidence of the Affair explores the complex nature of the heart. And ultimately, for one woman, how liberating it can be when it’s broken.

Story
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them. With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success.

A Decent Enough Second-Chance Romance
3.5/5
This is my first Emily Henry book and I have learnt from just one book that she is an excellent writer with brilliant mastery of her craft. I loved the alternating timelines and how they were placed, with some nicely drawn-out characters (Not Wynn) and conflicts.
Now, there are certain elements in the story that I couldn't completely come to terms with. Some 'meh' drama builds up leading to all the issues. Oh well!
And that is okay, as you might find it just fine.
All that apart, the audiobook was wonderfully narrated.

Expressions of Inner dialogues
The inner dialogues and subtlety of romance and its rawness. I feel story was ordinary but the way it was written was amazing😍

chapter 29 to rest is the main book.
I love Emily henry.. but this book is different than rest of her book.. Alot of childhood traumas are involved,
it's surely is a miscommunication trope but I loved it..
it was really long. It shouldn't have been this long..

Skip it if you dislike miscommunication tropes
It's a good book. It's very well written but I was disappointed by the main reason for the breakup and how it's dealt with. It seemed pretty dumb. Julia's narration makes the book better like always.
