About this listen

iDEATH is a place where the sun shines a different color every day and where people travel to the length of their dreams. Rejecting the violence and hate of the old gang at the Forgotten Works, they lead gentle lives in watermelon sugar. In this book, Richard Brautigan discovers and expresses the mood of the counterculture generation.

Lost in Surrealism, Left in utter confusion

The problem with many literary pieces are the subtle and hidden meanings which are not apparent and quite elusive. In Watermelon Sugar has a nice story about the characters but the whole setting is so evasive, it confounds you more, and delights you less as the events in iDeath unfold. I am still not sure about the whole build up around the tigers and it's inkling of a significance.

Anyway the narration was quite enjoyable but sometimes indifferent like the my own experience with listening to this Book.
