About this listen
It began with Eragon.... It ends with Inheritance.
Not so very long ago, Eragon-Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider, was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Great story
This is a great story with a well thought out ending. The only reason for performance rated 4 is due to the repetition towards the end by the narrator

Epic Story
Came back to read fantasy as this was a childhood goal that i wanted to check off my list. it was surprisingly entertaining. The last two books are consistently on the edge and the whole story is amidst war. Just when you think its YET to start the book will suddenly move into a battle.
In my opinion Galbatorix didn't exactly appear evil in the end and the writer could have made it more justified.
Nasuada as a character felt over board to me many times like the writer was trying to create respect for her.
Srukan the dragon was basically killed without much of a fight.
At the end I also felt like Alagaesia was no place for Eragon because the place seems empty and without a bigger goal with Galbatorix gone and Eragon too strong.
Bringing a new villain to continue the sory won't work either.
Queens death als wasn't really done well and more was needed in that section for after story.
Sloans part also could have ended in some better end. like a change of hear or something.
