Publisher's Summary

An audiobook in Tamil language.

Who was the world's first human being? Man or woman?

Where did man plant his first footstep on earth? What is the name of the first human species? Where did the first human settlement occur? When did Sri Lanka move away from the Indian sub-continent? Did man ever see dinosaurs face to face? When did man first cook? Who was the world's first peasant-farmer? Who was the world's first great emperor? The world's first panchayat (or village council), first law, first police station, first eye operation....

This is the ultimate book of lists, throwing light on these and many more of the "firsts" of planet Earth. The origin of man, the birth and death of civilizations, wars and empires, the beginning of the universe - all this and more is covered in this comprehensive journey in to the past, present, and future. And Madan makes it all so enjoyable. With his easy flowing style and ready humor, he turns a complex voyage in a time machine into a walk in the park.

This audiobook will drench you in the sound of music - music as fresh as folk songs and as profound as hymns as Madan's history of the world is brought to you in pure audio.

Interesting listening

very clearly written and spoken from the beginning with simple language. expected kipi also tobe elaborated which didn't come. Narrator has done justice to.the writing. However, would like to hear the writer to describe his writing.

Wonderful work by Madhan and well read by Charles

The narrator could have pronounced the non-Tamil words properly. Otherwise it was utterly fantastic.

Book title has nothing to do with its contents

Very historically inaccurate book. It begins with the disproven out of Africa.

Explains only about Mesopotamia, Egypt and Greek civilization.

The author finds very difficult to acknowledge the fact that Indus valley civilization is Tamizh.

The author completely hides the contributions of Tamizhs in Indian subcontinent.

To learn about the true history of the world. I would suggest to read historian Guna iyya's book. Which covers all the above points in greater detail with proper proofs.
