About this listen

Kojack has been running the Meurtre (Murder) Mafia since its original founders Adair and Orlando stepped down to become husbands and fathers.

Leaving the game for a woman is the furthest thing from Kojack's mind. He's having his way making money and entertaining some of the baddest women in the world. Kojack doesn't have plans to change for anyone or anything—until he meets Rae. Being forced to step up and look after the feisty beauty in the most intimate way forces Kojack to realize he can't keep running from love forever. An unfortunate event threatens the bond the two have built because he fears that Rae is blaming him for her misfortune, and she's pushing him away. It's never been Kojack's nature to chase anyone or anything other than the money. Kojack bottles his emotions up and keeps pushing until one day, the pressure that's been building causes him to act out in ways that he may never be able to come back from.

Rae Webber is trying to navigate through life the best way she knows how. After losing everyone close to her, she is simply existing, not even realizing the extent of her internal struggles. One night changes everything, and Rae is tossed into a whirlwind of pain and mixed emotions. Kojack is a constant in her life that she's grown to crave, but she's smart enough to know that just because she wants something doesn't mean she needs it. Just when it seems that life is easing up off of her a bit and she can breathe again, Rae is faced with more turmoil. In the end, she decides that choosing herself may mean walking away from the very person who saved her in more ways than one.
