About this listen
Darrow would have lived in peace, but his enemies brought him war. The Gold overlords demanded his obedience, hanged his wife, and enslaved his people. But Darrow is determined to fight back. Risking everything to transform himself and breach Gold society, Darrow has battled to survive the cutthroat rivalries that breed Society's mightiest warriors, climbed the ranks, and waited patiently to unleash the revolution that will tear the hierarchy apart from within.
Finally, the time has come.
But devotion to honor and hunger for vengeance run deep on both sides. Darrow and his comrades-in-arms face powerful enemies without scruple or mercy. Among them are some Darrow once considered friends. To win, Darrow will need to inspire those shackled in darkness to break their chains, unmake the world their cruel masters have built, and claim a destiny too long denied - and too glorious to surrender.

wonderful
The narration just keeps you hooked to the entire series . With a very creative and unique storyline ,characters the entire series is simply amazing. There is never a dull moment or over indulgence in science despite being a sci-fi .Explanations are simple and author sticks to the story and doesn't rift into over detailing anytime in the entire series

Did not disappoint
I couldn't put it down. I binged on it every moment. While some parts were predictable and the climax not so grand, the story and the narration left me wanting to hear more.
Tim does a fantastic job as in the first 2 books.

Trilogy concludes with Twists in Plot
Brilliant end to the trilogy. Such a gripping tale of rising. At some points author manages to pull out amazing twists to emerge out as awesome plot. Planning to get onto the next books in the series. The audible experience, was quiet good.
