Woah! That's not the Premchand I knew
Quite realistic and intricately written. Every character is grossly observed and given a perfect development arc. One is left wanting for more as the story ends.

Duality and conflicts in Nirmala
Nothing to dislike in it. It is a story told in 1936...and well narrated now by audible. Premchand at his nxt to best . "Godaan" is probably his best.

Way ahead of its time and filled with emotions
M Premchand is a great story teller and brings you into the lines of his characters. His characters are progressive within a constrained and regressive society.
