हाँ, कभी-कभी कुछ विशेष व्यक्तियों के लिए प्रकृति ने अपने नियम जरूर बदले हैं।
ऐसे ही विशेष महामानव हैं-सात चिरंजीवी। ये सात चिरंजीवी इसलिए कहलाए, क्योंकि सातों जीवन-मृत्यु के चक्र से ऊपर उठकर अमर हो गए।
इन सात चिरंजीवियों में परशुराम, बलि, विभीषण, हनुमान, महर्षि वेदव्यास, कृपाचार्य और अश्वत्थामा हैं।
इन चिरंजीवियों में से कुछ के बारे में गलत धारणाएँ भी प्रचलित हैं, जैसे परशुराम का नाम सुनते ही हमारी आँखों के सामने एक ऐसे ऋषि की तसवीर उभरती है, जो बेहद क्रोधी स्वभाव के हैं।
लेकिन उन्होंने अत्याचारी और अन्यायी राजाओं के खिलाफ ही शत्र उठाए।
एक आदर्शवादी और न्यायप्रिय राजा के रूप में राम से मिलने के पश्चात् वे महेंद्र गिरि पर्वत पर तपस्या करने चले गए।
परशुराम भगवान् विष्णु के अंशावतार माने जाते हैं। आज्ञाकारी पुत्र के रूप में वे अद्भुत हैं।

The presentation of story is awesome
The ancient texts of Hindu literature in the form of short stories with lucid language makes the audiobook worth listening, the deliberation of narrator was energizing.
