A Good Reflection of the Indian Society
Premchand understood the pulse of the Indian society and explained that in this book very well. The book exposes the hypocrisy of the society, makes heroes out of the ordinary folks especially Suman and Gajadhar. Some characters ethical journey moves in crests and troughs which I found a little difficult to accept especially the character of Padm Singh Sharma and Sadan Singh.

Very Good Read
As good as it gets from Premchand ji.
Excellent narration by Sameer Goswami Ji.
Great character development and a refreshing climax.
Do give it a go.

Sevasadan is a beauty
Reviewing Premchand creations is like weighing an elephant while being an ant or sand. Premchand's spilled ink would have created another master piece. The GOD of Hindi literature.
simplicity, story, characters, scenes, conversations, wordings, observations - he had unlocked the supreme level to express all these in a such a manner and deep thoughts, feelings that his creations had, have and will continue to have a raw and natural value till eternity.
the only thing i disliked or hated during the listen is narrator's "lijiye suniye" before every chapter. the way he spoke those two words is the worst one can do. he has the nicest voice and narration ability but he ruined it at every chapter's begining, 50-56 times🤦♂️
