About this listen
One day of Brahma has 14 Indras; his life has 54,000 Indras. One day of Vishnu is the life time of Brahma. The lifetime of Vishnu is one day of Siva.
There are 18 Mahapuranas, great Puranas, and the Siva Purana is one of them. The book Siva is a vivid retelling of the Siva Purana for today's listener. The book contains all the major legends of Siva, bringing them alive again for a new generation. The characters and events one encounters here are awesome, many are cosmic. Siva himself is the Auspicious One. He is Mahadeva, the greatest god.

Excellent book but mispronunciations by narrator at many places
The narrator has no clue on the pronunciations of certain words that repeatedly appears in the book. That has really spoiled the feel of the story.

Wish it had a better narrator
The narrator has absolutely no idea on the pronunciation of many Sanskrit words and I guess no one cared to teach her. That spoilt the listening experience completely

This collection is quite rare
This is truly fascinating. I had never heard most of these stories before. Also, having heard some small stories here and there (mostly from my grandma), there were some gaps which couldn't be filled and remained lurking right from my childhood. After listening to this, I'm able to connect the dots.
The narration is quite fluent.

For the first time someone is reading it right. Though, several pronunciation mistakes are still there but Siva ia Siva not Sivaaa

Unnecessary Accent
Very disappointed by the unnecessary stereotyped "Indian Accent" for the dialogues. Good book but the audio needs to be updated.

Awkward narration
The story is beautiful as ever. But the person reading it has no clue regarding pronunciation!! It is laboured, stilted and staccato. The rhythm of the story is completely ruined. Please redo the book with a well versed narrator.
