Publisher's Summary

Vicky Rai, the son of a high-profile minister, has been shot dead by one of the guests at his own party. They are a glitzy bunch, but among them the police find six strange, displaced characters with a gun in their possession, each of them steaming with a secret motive.

India's wiliest investigative journalist, Arun Advani, makes it his mission to nail the murderer. In doing so, the amazing, tender and touching lives of six eccentric characters unravel before our eyes. But can we trust Advani? Or does he have another agenda in mind?

Very well written book

The narrative is fabulous and manages to brilliantly weave the story of the six protagonists. Coming from different walks of life, each of them has their own reason to commit the murder. Who finally does it will keep the listener riveted.

Tickles you

Hugely entertaining thriller set in India and so brilliantly narrated. One of my favourites.

Awesome!

It’s a famous piece. A great page turner and thriller. So much of depth. Great experience.

Predictable yet engaging book

The book keeps you engaged despite being a stretch somewhere in the middle. Lary Page character is very nicely conjured and more importantly makes a great listening part. The author has tried to melt a lot of contemporary issues and stretched thinly. 4 suspects could have made it concise and crisp. Overall a good book on content and excellent narration.

Better to read the summary on wiki

Struggled to finish. The plot was unnecessarily convoluted, narrator could hardly pronounce the Indian names of places or rivers
