The book ends in the late 1970s when Microsoft, still with only a dozen employees, signed its first deal with Apple. The deals would go on and Microsoft would grow unimaginably. Yet Gates never forgot his mother’s reminder that he was merely a steward of any wealth that he gained. Great book
Listened in 2x. Wheaton oddly swallows the end of sentences at places, making me question if the audio broke. else it's just fine.

Wonderful insight into a genius
This book provides an insight into early years one of the history’s brightest minds. The narration is good and stories engaging. I cannot wait for parts 2 and 3.

Unable to hear many words
The reader is not good. Basic thing is to have a clear voice who's volume doesn't vary too much. The reader looks like forgot this in excitement while reading certain segments. Many words are completely inaudible. Example: In a segment where tornado hits their home, reader volume is so low that I had to increase volume to understand that there were no casualties.
Amazon should have a software which adjusts volume if reader's volume varies a lot. This is not a worthy buy. I would recommend people to pass it off till amazon changes reader to someone better.

Very Inspiring
Every teenager and parents should read this memoir about How a kid goes on to find a global company. How hard he works, follows his passion and becomes successful. Very inspiring.

Excellent book for youngsters
book explores bills hardworking nature, exploring the limits based on interest and sheer will and ingenuity. good read for any child who is curious and raring to explore. While no offense to narrator, if we could listen to the book in Bills own voice it would have been great

Audio issues hold it back
The story is interesting, but the audio quality is not good. Frequent cut-offs and unbalanced sound. Will Wheaton's narration is also not upto the mark. He takes it very lightly, doesn't give it the weight it deserves. Interesting story, let down by a bad audiobook execution.
