About this listen

Colonel Joe Bishop made a promise and he's going to keep it; taking the captured alien starship Flying Dutchman back out.

He doesn't agree when the UN decides to send almost 70 elite Special Operations troops, hotshot pilots, and scientists with him; the mission is a fool's errand he doesn't expect to ever return from. At least, this time, the Earth is safe, right?

Not so much.

Gripping storyline

Great storyline. Characters are developed well. Scientific background is also very fascinating. Waiting eagerly for the remaining books

good comedy and excellent narrator

The narrator in this book is epic!. Book itself is fine, it's entertaining for a one time read, but the narrator is what makes it brilliant!.

Great Narration just like the first one but

Another fun read or listen rather but Skippy being Skippy started getting irritating by the end. How is a super super AI so dumb so routinely?!?

The adventure this time was also a slower burn compared to the action packed first book.

Still, you get to learn more about the universe inhabited by Kristang, Thoranin, Rindalo etc and if you plan to read more books in the series than that's good!

boring and repetitive

this book is not nearly as funny as the first one. the only comedy is Joe and skippy insulting each other. the book overall is repetitive and glosses over content. a problem happens, the god ai skippy can't do anything, Joe comes up with an idea, problem is solved within seconds. there is hardly any serious conflict.
