In AD 2076, Earth has been conquered and humanity brutally enslaved under the cruel tyranny of the Kalkar invaders whose evil was spawned from Va-nah, the Moon’s hollow interior. But when a desperate plea comes from the planet Barsoom, Julian Seventh - descendant of the great hero who nearly defeated the Kalkars - is hurled upon a lonely quest into the heart of Va-nah. There he must team up with a U-ga princess and a fierce alien quadruped to launch a daring rescue to save a lost Barsoomian ambassadorial mission. Their success of depends on an unlikely alliance with John Carter, Warlord of Mars, to assail the enemy’s impregnable stronghold. If they fail, humanity - and the entire solar system - will never escape the iron grip of the Moon Men.

Adventure & Action on the Moon!
Swords Against the Moon Men by Christopher Paul Carey is a pastiche sequel to Edgar Rice Burroughs classic sword and planet novel The Moon Maid.
The writer imitates the style of ERB's prose and balancing action, romance and adventure. The book is short but fast paced as our hero Julian the 7th finds himself in the fantastic worlds hidden beneath the Moon's craters and finds adventure and romance.
The audiobook narration by John McLain is pretty good.
Recommended if you like old fashioned style adventure stories. No need to read the original ERB novel to enjoy this book but you will have additional enjoyment if you are familiar with the novel.
