Brilliant text and reading.

This well-written history of economics is a brilliant overview of the subject. It is interesting and extremely well narrated. I knew nothing about economics as a subject, and I wanted to learn. This book put into perspective so much of what we see at work in our world today. It also gives an amazing account of the development of economic thought over the centuries, so one gets some background to understand the present. It is a history lesson in addition to a course in economic thought.

The narrator is outstanding. His voice is pleasing and his reading is perfectly measured and consistent, so the listener has no trouble following the course of thought and isn’t distracted by personal narrative effects.

Highly recommended.
