About this listen
When Chariots of the Gods was published 50 years ago, it began a worldwide change in humanity's view of the cosmos. In an era of the military space race, Erich von Daniken boldly proclaimed that Earth had been visited by more advanced beings early in our history. But prescientific man had no concept of spaceships, so he called their vehicles "chariots", and those driving the chariots became "gods".
Over the next five decades, von Daniken's 32 books built an ever-stronger case for Earth being visited by extraterrestrial visitors. And Chariots became an international best seller, with 30 million copies sold in more than two dozen languages. Also during that time, the case for ET visitations millennia ago was being reexamined by contemporary UFO researchers, who found evidence of modern visitations. And von Daniken expanded his perspective to encompass the present.
Now he presents his long-awaited sequel to Chariots of the Gods, proclaiming that the gods never left us, with all-new material to show that ancient aliens are still with us.
The Gods Never Left Us contends that recent advancements in biotechnology, astrophysics, engineering, and artificial intelligence not only give us a fresh perspective on his ancient astronaut theory but actually validates it. We are - as a race - embarking on the exact same trajectory of our own interplanetary colonization, just as von Daniken suggested Earth itself was colonized.
ETs are definitely at work today. And that affects all of us.

am interesting read/listen
Very interestingly articulated details, unsure of facts or fiction though, keeps the reader glued. this is a profoundly good quality of any book. it's for a reader to place the book under any category he/she perceives to fit in. I am an Indian and well grounded on Indian mythology and epics. To me a few details on Indian Epic Mahabharata seem 'not facts based'. It's possible that same is the case with examples from Europe, Mexico, Africa, China and all other sources quoted in this book. hence I would keep this book under 'fiction' and just enjoy the details rather than getting down to prove veracity of all examples and question the integrity of the author. I am sure going to read / listen other books by the author. Interestingly the voice and narration in this book massively add to the textual contents of this book.

Worst spitirually claimed book with fake stories
Initially I was trying to believe what he was saying. But after a threshold I realised I need to Google a little but about the author. I found the author is a complete fraud, my first impression. I still tried to dig further. And found that his facts and figures presented in the book are all his own interpretation and has no connection with the actual facts and figures presented and discovered by scientists and archaeologists. If you want to get some real spiritual truths don't read this book but if you want to enjoy this book as fictional stories then go for it.
