Publisher's Summary
Tonight, Osmond Box, the reclusive yet wildly successful writer/director known for his completely surprising Broadway plays, is debuting his seventh and most highly anticipated production of his career: The Guilty. Nothing is known about the story, the setting, the premise, or even the actors involved. The first people to discover the truth will be the lucky ones sitting in those seats opening night. Phones are collected; doors are locked. The rest of the world eagerly awaits the first reviews....
Two hours later, when the doors are finally allowed to open, half of the audience will be applauding wildly. The other half will be fleeing the theater in mortal terror. Has Osmond Box done it again? Or has he done something far, far worse?

Fun dramatised play
I'm a major James Patterson fan. Imagine my delight when I found an audiobook from him called "The Guilty" on Audible. There are twists and turns that make you question what you know. As the actors, keep telling the NYPD detectives through the audiobook, nothing is as it seems and you need to look through the performance to identify the clues. I was never an audiobook fan, but this book might have made me a convert. :)

Entertaining
The story is okay, but the production and performance are awesome. The sound engineer has done a great job. It was an entertaining listen. I am not sure if I would have enjoyed reading the book though.

The Guilty
Enjoyed this very different Paterson’s novel. Suspense till the end. Gets a bit draggy in the middle though. Overall good

Amazing!
Performance and story are good. Long enough to hear over two three days in short bursts.

Sound and Fury all for nothing
unnecessary twists and turns, with the saving grace being the voice performances from some really good actors. There's only so much that you can stamp with James Patterson's name and expect the audience to lap it up before the flaws start showing.
