The second novel in the record-breaking, million-copy best-selling Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman.

It's the following Thursday.

Elizabeth has received a letter from an old colleague, a man with whom she has a long history. He's made a big mistake, and he needs her help. His story involves stolen diamonds, a violent mobster and a very real threat to his life.

As bodies start piling up, Elizabeth enlists Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron in the hunt for a ruthless murderer. And if they find the diamonds, too? Well, wouldn't that be a bonus?

But this time, they are up against an enemy who wouldn't bat an eyelid at knocking off four septuagenarians. Can the Thursday Murder Club find the killer (and the diamonds) before the killer finds them?

what a story, what a performance

This book is one of the best narration I have heard. The book is of course in its quintessential way, a super book enhanced by the narrative. Loved it!

Mystery with light storytelling makes it perfect

Lesley Manville is an absolute charm. The embodiment of each character with her voice is amazing. It is so easy to imagine every character with her narrative skills.
The plot of the story keeps you on your toes. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron developed over the previous novel, as we learn more about their past and their nature.
All in all, time well spent. And a Credit well spent.

Witty, hilarious and suspenseful story. Don't miss

It's an easy 5 star.
The gang of four has proven hit as before. I just love this genre . There is suspense, murders but everything is on a lighter note.
Few incidents in the story are literally laugh out loud. I would say the mystery was well crafted as well. It kept me hooked.
Mr. Osman, please make sure this series last for at least 10 books.
A must read of 2021.
Narrator is exceptionally outstanding. Her work is befitting for her reputation as renowned British actress.

Age is Just a Number!

Quite an unbelievable Thriller where Protagonists are residents of an Old Age Living Facility.

This book continues the magic of the first book and somehow betters it if thats possible. The narration is top notch, and I especially loved the character of Joyce although Elizabeth does all of the heavy lifting.

A quirky book for sure. Will put a smile on your lips many times guaranteed.

Go for it!
