About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
From the bestselling author of The Authenticity Project comes a brand-new uplifting and feel-good novel that everyone is falling in love with...
Nobody speaks to strangers on the train. But what would happen if they did?
Every day at 8:05, Iona Iverson boards the train to go to work. Every day, she sees the same people and makes assumptions about them, even giving them nicknames. But they never speak. Obviously.
Then, one morning, Smart-but-Sexist-Surbiton chokes on a grape right in front of Iona. Suspiciously-Nice-New Malden steps up to help and saves his life, and this one event sparks a chain reaction.
With nothing in common but their commute, an eclectic group of people learn that their assumptions about each other don't match reality. But when Iona's life begins to fall apart, will her new friends be there when she needs them most?

Sweet and simple
just the simplicity of it to be honest, and how badly we want a group like that in real

Something that someone might make a movie on
It was a very interesting plot. I loved each and every characters and thank you that it good combination os that many. A really nice storyline for every character did not leave anybody sideways. I can understand that some characters were more into the main character and someone on the side, but everybody had their own story, and personality. I like the fact that it was wholesome, had a pinch of thrill in the middle and good emotional combination. Loved It Must Read

A delightful read
I was not sure going into this book if it will be engaging. But how beautifully the author has weaved thos story around multiple characters who only have one thing in common - they all commute in the same train.
Fabulous narration too...

Such a wholesome fun read!
Loved that it was a book on the mundane daily lives of normal people with their own characteristics and flaws. Such a heartwarming read. I loved the narration too

Light-hearted read that brings a smile
Being a regular commuter, I find this story super endearing. Our perception and assumptions of strangers seem like the truth and eventually when reality is revealed, we often are left surprised. All the characters are well depicted and there's so much to learn from each. Great narration by audible .Fun read !

Train and People
I used to travel by a train so the idea of making friends with unlikeliest people during commute is a very familiar premise. the characters are warm and story quick... loved it

Brilliantly created characters
Enjoyed every minute of the book! Loved each character, and the story. The rare and unfiltered honesty with which the author writes is so refreshing! Very well narrated too.
