The performance was great! I loved the plot and how it switched between past and present.

Second book I have read of Simone St. James. I like that the stories have ghosts but it's not a horror story. I could see this being a good thriller series or movie. Performances were good too, recommended if you like murder mysteries!

A bit liberal with the rating but it's a good book!

this is just an awful book and such stories are over done.
one moment in your are in 1980 and the other moment you are in 2017.
Not impressed at all. The atmosphere you want to be created lasts just 20 minutes or so in the book.
There is no eerie quality we readers want.

For perspective, Ruth Ware's turn of the key and Hawkins' Girl on the train and even the housemaid are better stories.
This is not something I recommend.

another awful book about murders
