About this listen
There is a sword, forged by the master swordsmith Goffanon the Dwarf, imbued with powerfully magical properties. But this magic can be wielded by only one man. And there is a stallion - a fierce animal that allows only those pure of heart to ride it. The only man worthy of taking up this sword and climbing into this saddle is Prince Corum - the Eternal Champion.
The struggle for dominion between the races of good and evil is reaching an epic crescendo, and the formidable Gods of Limbo threaten to deliver unending Chaos to the world. Corum’s most desperate quest yet will see treachery, betrayal, wizards, dragons, and brutal battle, all of which will decide the fate of the Earth, and of Corum himself.

A powerful tragedy, a classic of fantasy!
The Sword and the Stallion by Michael Moorcock is 3rd and final book in the Corum : Prince with the Silver Hand Trilogy as Corum and his allies prepare for their final battle against the Fhoi Myore, the Cold Folk who are destroying their land with eternal winter.
This book is phenomenal work of fantasy fiction, character, action and tragedy with excellent pacing, they don't write like these anymore.
The audiodrama adaptation by Graphic Audio is excellent as well.
Listen/read to the first trilogy Prince in the Scarlet Robe and then read this to enjoy to some excellent fantasy fiction.
