A complicated relationship and a sci fi theme
Having seen the movie a long time ago, I was intrigued how would the book fare. Yes it is detailed and would have been a bit arduous to follow with its shifting time plots, but listening the audiobook made it so much easier. I wanted to like the male protagonist, but there was something unsettling when he met the young Clare and the way he interacted, as if he was grooming her. Also, she seemed so inexperienced and so resolute in her love choice- I was very disconnected with that aspect. I wish the author had let her explore few more love experiences before making up her mind. I wasn't moved to tears at the poignant parts of the story, so maybe it didn't touch the right cord with me. Its definitely a twisted plot and a unique story.

A true love story
I loved reading this book, but to hear it was even better. You fall in love with the two main characters, and the fact that a female and a male voice is used here really brings it all to life.

Amazing Story!
Loved this science friction + Romance story!
One of the best story. If you are hesitant to start this audiobook… don’t, you will enjoy every bit of it!
Narration was too good. It felt as though I am the character in the story and it is happening to me.
Thanks to the author for creating such an amazing story.

Amazing story, good narration except for French
loved the story, I had started it as a teenager but left midway...picked it up again recently and was hooked. the narration was beautiful too except for the parts in French which were unfortunately way off the mark.
