One of Franz Kafka's best-known works, The Trial has been variously interpreted as an examination of political power, a satirical depiction of bureaucracy, and a pessimistic religious parable. Left unfinished at the time of Kafka's 1924 death, The Trial is nevertheless a trenchant depiction of the seemingly incomprehensible nature of existence and a fascinating exploration of the universal issues of justice, power, freedom, and isolation.

Kudos to Kafka!
Narrator tries hard. Good upto certain chapters. Gets monotonous after certain chapters. Nevertheless, Can give it a try!!

Gripping narration but an abrupt ending
Wanted to listen to this book since a long time, and I must say it's as good as it's considered to be.
The character development and narration is great. The only let down was the rather abrupt ending.

maybe I didn't get it
maybe I didn't get it right. but from whatever i understood, i dislike it. i might never recommend this to another soul
