One of Franz Kafka's best-known works, The Trial has been variously interpreted as an examination of political power, a satirical depiction of bureaucracy, and a pessimistic religious parable. Wanted to listen to this book since a long time, and I must say it's as good as it's considered to be.
The character development and narration is great. The only let down was the rather abrupt ending.

Anxiety ridden life of a person on trial. Interesting read which was a little longer than expected but interesting throughout. Well read by narrator.
