About this listen

This was meant to be the perfect trip. The northern lights. A press launch on a luxury cruise ship. A chance for travel journalist Lo Blackwood to recover from a traumatic break-in that has left her on the verge of collapse and to work out what she wants from her relationship.

Except things don't go as planned. Woken in the night by screams, Lo rushes to her window to see a body thrown overboard from the next-door cabin. But the records show that no one ever checked in to that cabin, and no passengers are missing from the boat.

Exhausted, emotional and increasingly desperate, Lo has to face the fact that her sleep problems might be driving her mad, or she is trapped on a boat with a murderer - and she is the sole witness....

Loved the book. What a mystery!! Though I still have some questions in my mind.
First time on an audio ebook for me. Doesn't have the same pull of reading but yeah it is convenient.

Decent story, brilliant narration

The highlight of the book was the narration. Absolutely brilliant. Definitely going to check out more books narrated by Church.

ending should have been better

ending needed more clarity is what i felt, until then it was really very interesting and makes you not to leave the book there. even the twist in the end is good but needed some more clarity on why exactly it was the way it was.

Good story, with a bunch of loopholes

Loved the story. The narration was excellent and worth commending. However, there were a few unanswered questions rather loopholes which were left hanging.

It was not as good as expected.

Bit of an anti climatic book.. It was good narration but the story had no story to tell. it was a lot of "wrong place at the wrong time" moments.. and the why the story started had nothing to do with the overall story at all.

Painstakingly Predictable

I have never come across such a predictable mystery novel. You will be spot the twists a mile ahead.
