An utter disappointment after I am Pilgrim

This is not a spy thriller. This story ricocheted between science fiction, spy novel and love story. But it failed to gather the momentum that the reader/listener expected from the successor of I am Pilgrim.
It’s an absolute disappointment.
But I wish to smoke whatever Mr Hayes did while writing this. It’s definitely good stuff, no doubt about that.
