Great start to the series! A must read!

Really had a great time listening to this book. A well written story which was excellently performed by Tim Reynolds. Eagerly looking forward to the next books in the series. It was credit well spent for me and would strongly recommend giving this book a listen.

Brilliant Indeed

Very few Books I add to the bookshelf and name it the 'best book ever' . This one is really one of those.
Two main characters 'THIEVES' are very brilliantly written and interdependency is on the mark and also its quite very interesting, and none of the major characters are boring or too complex for anyone to understand. The story takes twist and makes u believe in wrong people at the beginning and then it becomes better.
It's a must read for everyone.

Great book

This book felt like a breath of fresh air after reading so many so-called serious works aimed at adults. it doesn't forget to enjoy the journey while telling a relatively simple yet compelling story. Great narration too.

Amazing story!!

I loved it. Its a page turner... hard to put down... narrator is very good. He used different voices and kept it compelling to listen to. i also listened to the prequel and am planning to get all the series..

Intriguing story. Spell binding Narration.

The story is great with unexpected twists and turns. The author always leaves enough mysteries unresolved to keep you hooked. What's makes the audiobook even better is the mesmerizing narration, each character is easily recognizable. Great audiobook. Recommended.

Excellent Duo and good world.

Best duo in a story I ever read and I have read many lotr included.
1st story in the book was little slow as i took weeks to just finish 1st couple chapaters,
then after getting to know the characters it was fast read.
2nd story was smooth never felt bored.
World Building is great, not grim but dark and real at times, and silly some other.
magic is much to be seen, as we get only some glimpses here and there.
Characters have some depth even some are shallow,
sometimes I felt real bad for some characters.
And since it was enjoyable experience,
I am going to complete all the books from this series.

Narration was fine, and narrator did excellent job portraying the main characters, but couple of times it was less than acceptable performance for side characters.
overall rating: Fun read / listen.
