About this listen
Ashton is a typical small town where everyone knows everyone else and the pace of life is predictable. No one would suspect that Ashton has drawn powerful demonic beings to it. Planning to gain control of the town - and eventually the world - these evil forces are looking for allies. When Pastor Young and the town's newspaper reporter begin to discover this dark plan, they turn to God for guidance, but others have already succumbed to temptation. As angelic forces rally against the demons, breathtaking visions of spiritual warfare fill each fast-paced chapter.
Richard Ferrone's dramatic narration highlights these powerful illustrations of the strength of prayer and faith. There are more than two million copies of This Present Darkness in print.

Kept me on my toes….
Amazing book. It is really amazing to have a fictional book reinforce my faith in God and the power of prayer. Very interesting storyline. I wish to complete all the books in this series. Must read for every one who loves supernatural thriller.

Christian fiction that works on many levels
Remove the Supernatural, and it becomes a run-of-the-mill thriller. But the Supernatural elements add a depth and colour that elevates the novel to a more satisfying and thought provoking read.
