This is my first book reading of 2025 , what a story,completely obsessed and drooling over their love story of Aman & Avni❤️💫, Dear Prajakta please do write more ,because of you i have started reading romance novels . Fabulous actress & an amazing author too🧿💝 ,God bless you always ☺️

The narration is interesting. It feels like a conversation with a friend and gives comfort while listening. Although, the character could have been better for Avni.

“Too Good to Be True” is honestly... too much. Too much cheese, too much cringe, and way too much Aman. The man owns hotels, buildings, planes—probably a small country too—and we’re supposed to believe Avni, the stunningly beautiful protagonist, just doesn’t care for all the riches? Sure.

The book reads like a rom-com fever dream. In all the books I've read so far, none had this much drinking on every page. Also, Avni keeps calling herself an introvert while simultaneously gallivanting all over the place with a revolving door of social plans—girl, take it from a true introvert, that’s not introversion, that’s extroversion on espresso.

And the writing? All telling, zero showing. It starts to wear thin real fast. I gave it 3 stars because I respect the author's debut attempt and there’s a kernel of charm buried somewhere.

It’s a rom-com that tries too hard to be a fairy tale and ends up being a parody of one.If this is what “too good to be true” looks like, I’ll take mildly realistic and slightly boring any day. Might work better for fans of super filmy romance, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

As a YT influencer and actress Prajakta has great skills for narration. But when it comes to story and character building the book lacks a lot of it. The place of the story happening and the story are not in sync. It doesn't feel contextual and actual. It has lot of unnecessary drama and zero detailing. This long book and no character background included. Also questionable things are presented which doesn't actually happen. Although it is a fiction but this one seems too childish and too much fictional.
